Stories Need To Be Retold

-

debut early this summer — fair and balanced.

Moving from Fayetteville to Farmington in the fifth grade, I watched dozens of unbelievable performances, teams and athletes as a youngster and later played against many more.

I was even geeky enough to seek out old highlight tapes when I heard stories of stars before my time.

If there is an athlete, a team or even a single-game performance that you believe deserves revisiting, then let me know and I will do all I can to retell that story.

If I’m the only one coming up with ideas, it may end up with more Farmington stories than intended, so your help is crucial.

Please send any ideas and suggestions to mcapshaw@ nwadg.com. With your help, I believe this can be an entertaining project.

At the very least, it’ll give me an excuse to bug “Big Al” from time to time.
