Scoring in every inning, including five runs in the second, West Fork cruised to an 11-1 victory against Lincoln in five innings on Saturday. The game, which was part of The Border Battle, was played at Gentry.

Brayden Burnett and Grayson Jarnagan combined for four hits and three RBIs for the Tigers (1-0).

The Wolves’ lone run came on an RBI single by Pace Maddox in the fourth inning.

Errors plague Lincoln in its second mercy-rule loss on Saturday as Oaks-Mission scored a combined 12 runs in the second and third innings.

Dalton Lee smashed an RBI triple in the second inning to account for the Wolves’ run. Pace Maddox had Lincoln’s only other hit against Warriors starti ng pitcher Nakoma Rommanose, who helped his own cause by going 2 for 3 with 2 runs and an RBI.
