Betty Ruth Walker, 86, of Farmington, Ark., passed away June 19, 2016, in Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was born Nov. 25, 1929, at Prairie Grove, Ark., the daughter of Jasper Monroe and Laura Pearl Hooper Neal.

She worked side by side with her husband Charles “Russell” Walker on their farm, where they raised four children. She was a member of the Main Street Farmington Baptist Church. She was a member of the Bethel Grove Extension Homemakers for more than fifty years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her youngest daughter, Barbara Woody; her parents; and all seven brothers, Gaylan, Howard, Carl, Wayne, Kenneth, Junior, and J.C. Neal.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Walker and wife BeAnn of Prairie Grove and Donald Walker and wife Sheroll of Fayettevil­le; one daughter, Candes Wilson and husband Jim of Fayette- ville; one son-in-law, Clay Woody of Farmington; nine grandchild­ren, Doug, Brian, and Eric Walker, Jessica Walker Nohl, David Wilson, Laura Wilson Caplena, Jeremy Woody, Kara Woody Lewis, and Andrew Woody; 22 great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at the Main Street Farmington Baptist Church with Preston Beeks officiatin­g. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery and no graveside services were held.
