Reba Tannehill
Reba Tannehill, 88, of Fayetteville, Ark., left us to be with her Heavenly Father Aug. 22, 2016, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born March 11, 1928, in Muldrow, Okla., the daughter of William Harley and Lena Daniels Garner.
She lived in Fayetteville since moving here with her parents in 1943. She was a member of the White Rock Light of Faith Church in Fayetteville and loved her church family as she loved her family. She was a homemaker and worked as a volunteer for the Fayetteville Senior Center as she loved helping others.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cammie Tannehill; three brothers, Lewis, Billy and Glen Garner; one sister, Dorothy Hamblen; and one great-granddaughter, Tiffany Napier.
She is survived by her daughter, Sue Ryan; two granddaughters, Sherry King and her husband Mel and Kristy Napier and her husband Ralph; five greatgrandchildren, Jake and Timothy King, and Lillie, Clayton and Jerry Napier; three brothers, Bob, Paul and Harley Garner; one sister, Leta Hamblen; many nieces and nephews; and two very good neighbors who were very dear to her, David Mertin and Karen Daugherty.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at White Rock Light of Faith Church in Fayetteville. Burial was in Cemetery Hill Cemetery and no graveside services were held.
