Linda Nell Williams Steward

Linda Nell Williams Steward, 70, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Aug. 24, 2016, at The Maples in Springdale. She was born March 25, 1946, in Pine Bluff, Ark., the daughter of John D. “Red” Williams Sr. and Gracie V. Wells Williams.

She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1965. Following graduation she attended the Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center. Her passion was cooking, she enjoyed baking cakes and donating them to the church. She also enjoyed collecting cookbooks and has collected over 2500 cookbooks.

She was a member of the Sheridan Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by three brothers, John D. Williams Jr. and his wife Connie of Fayetteville, Ark., Tommy Joe Williams and his wife Terri of Alexander, Ark., and Jerry Wayne Williams and his wife Pearlie of Sheridan, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows for the loving care shown to Linda.

Graveside service was held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at New Hope Cemetery near Sheridan, Ark., officiated by Dr. Sandi Sims.
