PRAIRIE GROVE Masonic Lodge Breakfast

Occidental Lodge will host a scholarshi­p breakfast 6-10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, at 114 Mock Street. A breakfast of eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage and pancakes will be served, along with coffee, milk and juice. The Lodge raises money for scholarshi­ps to graduating seniors from Prairie Grove and Farmington. Please come and support the Lodge and students of Prairie Grove and Farmington.

Clotheslin­e Gospel Sing

Anyone interested in singing at the Clotheslin­e Fair Gospel Sing on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 4, please call Marion Cowan at 841-3372. Each singer or group, plan on 20-30 minutes of song.

Dog’s Junk Fest

Friends of Prairie Grove Pound will have a Junk Yard Dog’s Junk Fest over Labor Day weekend. It will be held at 314 Parks St., Prairie Grove. Many vendors will be there with lots of unique gifts and home items to purchase. Hours are 8-6 Friday and Saturday, 12-5 Sunday, 10-4 on Labor Day. Concession­s will be available and all money raised will benefit the pound.

LINCOLN Apple Festival Talent Show

The Arkansas Apple Festival Youth Talent Contest is accepting applicatio­ns for those who wish to participat­e. The two age groups are 8-12 and 13-17. Prize money and trophies will be awarded to winners in both divisions. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at American Legion building just southeast of the square.
