Brenda Joyce Beeks
Brenda Joyce Beeks, 67, of Summers, Ark., passed away Sept. 6, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born May 25, 1949, in Ft. Riley, Kan., the daughter of Richard and Lois Virginia Palmer Parker.
She loved making things with her hands for her children and grandchildren. She was a giver and very talented making crafts, dolls and jewelry for her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ricky John Parker; and two sisters, Sheryl Ship and Cynthia McGowan.
She is survived by her husband, Willard Beeks; three sons, Garry Allen Staton of Rogers, Ark., Michael Phillip Staton and wife Nicole of Stoutland, Mo., and David Richard Staton and wife Kimberly of San Antonio, Texas; three daughters, Sharon Virginia Walkup and husband Paul and Carolyn Johnston all of Neosho, Mo., and Brenda Jean Acord and husband John of Rogers; two stepsons, Derrick Beeks and wife Donna and Jarrett (Joe) Beeks all of Stockton, Mo.; one stepdaughter, Cassondra Wynn of Lewisville, Texas; two brothers, Steve Parker and wife Patricia of Port Richey, Fla., and Vick Parker of Pinson, Ala.; three sisters, Vickie Ehley and husband Scott of Denton, Texas, Nancy Campbell of Birmingham, Ala., and Lois Marie Lewis and husband James of Gentry, Ark.; 16 grandchildren, Katie Luedecke, Michael Kai Isaac Staton, Jared Staton and wife Marion, Alyssa Staton, Hannah Staton, Ryan Stout and wife Aly, Sierra Niswonger and husband Jared, Jerrika Guild and husband Justin, Taylor Johnston, Travis Johnston, Aidan Johnston, Brittani Morrison and husband Tim, Breanna Acord, Bailee Franklin, Whitney and Paige Wynn; six great- grandchildren, Brair Niswonger, Taryn, Tydus and Vaeda Luedecke, Marayha LeShea and Peighton Justice Walker.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday Sept. 10, 2016, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. Burial was in Rose Cemetery, and no graveside service was held.

Earl Leroy ‘Buddy’ Goodhart Jr.
Earl Leroy “Buddy” Goodhart Jr., 57, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Sept. 3, 2016, in Rogers. He was born Jan. 11, 1959, in Liberal, Kan., the son of Earl Leroy and Doris Vivian Cox Goodhart.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jackie Swink; and one sister, Hope Elaine Swink.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Goodhart; one daughter, Hayley Brightwell and her husband Jarrod of Lowell, Ark.; four sisters, Beverly Eckstrom of Lincoln, Ark., Sharon Hazleton and her husband Tim of Topeka, Kan., Vivian “Mickey” McBee and her husband J.K. of Edmond, Okla., and Marlene Taylor and her husband Mitchell of Bentonville, Ark.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held 2 p. m. Friday September 9, 2016, at Cross Church, Pinnacle Hills in Rogers. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Charlene Goodhart at 3106 S. G St., Rogers, AR 72758. All donations will cover the incurred medical expenses. Any donations above and beyond the medical expenses will be sent to Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Carol Lee McGarity
Carol Lee McGarity, 73, a resident of Peachtree Assisted Living in Farmington, Ark., passed away Sept. 2, 2016, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born July 31, 1943, at Neosho, Mo., the daughter of Oliver and Billie Rinehart Hall.
She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills, Ark. She moved from Neosho to Harrison, Ark., and then to Dutch Mills in 1960. She worked in Colorado Springs for Safetran building railroad signals. She then moved to California where she worked for General Dynamics building Stinger Missiles and later retired from Whirlpool in Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene McGarity; her grandparents, Henry Arthur and Lola Frailey Rinehart; her mother and father; and a half brother, Kenneth Hall.
She is survived by her sister, Debbie Eversoll and husband Roger of Dutch Mills; two nephews, Roger Dale Eversoll of North Little Rock, Ark., and Phillip Anthony Eversoll and wife Brittany of El Paso, Ark.; one great-niece, Billie May Eversoll; one stepbrother, Jeffrey Hall; her stepfather, Bill Barton; three stepdaughters, Anne Harrah, Jane McGarity, and Jovonna Jones; two stepsons, Steven and Jeffrey McGarity; one stepgrandson, Douglas Jones Jr.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2016, at Liberty Baptist Church with Jason Taylor officiating. Burial was in the Dutch Mills Cemetery and no graveside service was held.
Memorials may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home or the Liberty Baptist Church building loan.

Lisa Ann Jackson Wessel
Lisa Ann Jackson Wessel, 51, of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Sept. 9, 2016, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Sept. 23, 1964, at Elgin, Ill., the daughter of Billy Rex Sr. and Bonnie Lou Owens Jackson.
She was very kind and loving and will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; one half brother, Donald Reddell; her stepfather, Mike Coatney.
She is survived by her mother, Bonnie Jackson of Lincoln; one daughter, Keryn Higginbotham of Van Buren, Ark.; three brothers, Harold Dean Jackson, Rex Jackson and wife Dessie, Darren Jackson and wife Andrea all of Lincoln; her fiancé, John George; three half brothers, Roger Reddell, Randy Hicks, and Michael Woods; one granddaughter, Ceara Wright; several nieces and nephews; and her loving dogs, Tina and Mia.
Funeral service was held at 10 a. m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at the Luginbuel Chapel with David McBride officiating.
