Deanna Darlene Dobbs Pergeson, 40, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Sept. 17, 2016, at her home. She wa s born March 7, 1976, in Fayettevil­le, Ark . , the daugh te r of Mitchell and Bet ty Lou Wright Dobbs.

She is survived by her husband, Don Pergeson; four children, Tracie Pergeson and her fiancé Chase Purtle of Fayettevil­le, James Pergeson and his wife Kara of Lincoln, Ark., Shawna Pergeson and Cierra Pergeson both of Prairie Grove; her parents, Mitchell and Betty Dobbs of Prairie Grove; one brother, Mike Dobbs and wife Sandie of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Ruthie Cole and husband Robert of Prairie Grove and Geneva Dobbs and Myron Hamman of Summers, Ark.; her father- in- law, Melvin Pergeson; five grandchild­ren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in Scott Cemetery and no graveside services were held.

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove was in charge of arrangemen­ts. the world with Mitch and creating folk art ( paper cuttings, apple head dolls…) which she gave to friends and family.

Committed to her faith, she remained actively involved in her church and renewed old and built new friendship­s. She had the gifts of cooking and hospitalit­y and she loved people. She welcomed friends and acquaintan­ces who didn’t have family into her home during the holidays; or pretty much any time.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie Clara ( Cole) and Hugh Thomas Shook; her brother, Hugh Thomas Shook; and her nephew, Mark Shook.

She is survived by her husband of more than 59 years, Mitchell Malloy Wilkinson; her daughter, Valorie Grace ( Wilkinson) Frederico; her son, Theodore ( Ted) Mitchell Wilkinson; sister- inlaw, Wanda Shook; niece, Sherry ( Shook) Barragan; and many great- nieces and - nephews. Surviving his grandmothe­r is Joseph Paul Frederico. Paul is her beloved and only grandchild.

Services were at 11 a. m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Scotland Cemetery in Junction City and under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home, El Dorado, Ark. Memorial service in Eureka Springs, Ark., will be scheduled for a later date.
