Beef On The Run Don’t have time to cook before the Homecoming game? “Beef On The Run” time again at First United Methodist Church for the Oct. 14 Homecoming game. Dinners cost $5 and include BBQ beef sandwiches, chips, cookies and a drink. Pre-orders are accepted and you can order through face book at Prairie Grove UMC. Meals will be served from 5-7 p.m. Prairie Grove UMC is located at 1401 E Parks St.

Family Dog Walk/Run Friends of Prairie Grove Pound will hold a Family Dog Walk and Fun Run from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 23, beginning at the amphitheater at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park.

Registration begins at 2 p.m. and dogs must be registered to participate. Cost is $10 for first dog and $5 per dog after that. Free E-Waste Disposal Boston Mountain Solid Waste District is accepting electronics for free until October 31. Items included are stereos, televisions, computers, microwaves, satellite boxes, VCR’s, DVD players and cell phones.

The district is located between Prairie Grove and Lincoln at 11398 Bond Road. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Prophecy Seminar A prophecy seminar with the topic “The Future has Arrived - Hope Beyond Tomorrow” will be held 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 14 at the former Sherry’s Feed Mill, 501 S. Mock St. The speaker is Tommy Blount. The seminar is free to the public. Free Bibles and other books will be given away.
