Lincoln, Farmington Celebrate Homecomings
FARMINGTON — Farmington senior maid Sara O’Dell was named the 2016 Homecoming queen Friday night in festivities held prior to the Farmington-Greenbrier football game.
Theme for Homecoming was Queen of Cards.
Farmington alumni and football fans were welcomed on behalf of the 2016 Crimson Regiment, flag line, cheerleaders and dance team to the Farmington High School’s 2016 Homecoming at Allen Holland Field.
Attendants included: flower girl Presley Ensign, daughter of David and Lisa Ensign; crown bearer Ella Schader, daughter of Sean and Nicole Schader; and football bearer Tage Pollard, son of Tim and Tarah Pollard.
The 2016 Farmington Homecoming court featured: sophomore maid Britney Thomas, daughter of Jimmy Thomas and Valerie Russell, escorted by Josh Ball, son of John Ball and Angela Comstock; junior maid Sicily Gambino, daughter of Lisann Gambino, escorted by Justin Clark, son of Mike and Tracy Clark; and junior maid Morgan Matthews, daughter of Josh and Marla Matthews, escorted by Nicholas Jones, son of Greg and Amber Jones.
Senior representatives on the 2016 Homecoming court were senior maid Kaylynn Bates, daughter of Geoff Bates and Kim Krueger, escorted by Blake Putnam, son of Frank Putnam and Cheryl Putnam, and Dylan Reeves, son of DeWayne and Kendra Reeves; senior maid Sadie Davis, daughter of Cary Davis and Debbie Davis, escorted by Dakota Simon, son of Angela Simon, and Keir Taylor, son of Walter Taylor and Kathy Wheeler; and senior maid Sara O’Dell, daughter of Shannon and Cindy O’Dell, escorted by Niles “Stump” Thomas, son of Niles Thomas and Shelly Thomas, and Grant Thornton, son of Sean and Kristina Thornton.

The captains participated in crowning O’Dell by presenting her flowers, the sash and football and giving the traditional congratulatory kiss.
