Walter Ezekial “Bud” Moorman Jr., 81, of Rose, Okla., died Oct. 10, 2016, at his home.

H e wa s born July 2, 1935, in Spartanbur­g, S.C., to Walter Ezekial Moorman Sr. and Susanna M. Galbarith Moorman. He was a retired Marine who served in Korea and Desert Storm. He was in the National Guard for 38 years, the Veteran’s Hospital for 30 years, and worked for the Arkansas Highway Department and Allen Canning. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 1674, American Legion Post 0171 and Masonic Lodge 615

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Robert Moorman of Rose, and Dean Moorman and wife Sherry of Grove, Okla.; seven grandchild­ren; two great- grandchild­ren; and a brother, Roy Moorman of Lincoln, Ark.

Graveside services were Oct. 14, 2016, at Bell Cemetery in Watts, Okla.
