LINCOLN — The Wolves baseball team will host an “Old-timer’s” game on Saturday, Feb. 25 at the Lincoln baseball field.

According to Lincoln baseball coach Justin Bounds, those participating need not have played baseball for Lincoln. The only requirement is to be a Lincoln graduate.

“This will be a fun event,” Bounds said. “Kind of like ‘Meet the Wolves,’ like we do for football and basketball. The game will be held on the Saturday before the season starts on Monday.” The Old-Timer’s game will be a fundraiser for the Wolves’ baseball program, but Bounds emphasized the main idea is to have fun and introduce this year’s team to the community. The old-timers will play against the 2017 Lincoln baseball team at 2 p.m.

Fans attending the “Old- timer’s” game will gain admission by bringing Spray & Wash, Shout or OxiClean. Monetary donations are also accepted.
