Learning At Chapter Presidents Conference

This past summer I had the opportunity to attend Chapter Presidents Conference in Hot Springs, Ark., at Camp Couchdale with 44 other chapter leaders across the state.

At this conference, the CPC members visited Hog Heaven, a fruit stand that sells locally grown produce, Helm’s Dairy where we learned about the dairy operation and the corn, soybean, and silage operation. We also had a special night tour of the State Capital where we learned about the diversity though agriculture.

CPC made an impact in the communities around Hot Springs because we packed over 20,000 meals with The Pack Shack organization that went straight into food pantries. CPC was filled with an amazing hands-on learning experience and a true friendship with fellow members from CPC.
