Pushing To Make Myself Better

- By Kinder Harlow

Hello my name is Kinder Harlow. I am 17 and a senior at Prairie Grove High School. I am very involved through FFA by showing Market Lambs, Judging Livestock and shooting on the Shooting Sports team.

My experiences through Judging Livestock in FFA have led me to deciding on a career choice and where I want to go to college.

Judging Livestock has enabled me to become a better livestock evaluator and it has helped me perform better under pressure.

Through judging I have been fortunate enough to travel to places like Kansas City, Mo., Louisville, Ky., and Denver, Colo.

Judging has taught me that you have to work hard for anything you want.

Pushing myself has not only helped me out in winning awards but it has helped me push myself in everything I do to better myself and not just be mediocre at the things I do.

I am happy to say that I have two ag teachers, Mr. Hays and Mr. Hale, that have supported me through everything I do and they have both opened up many doors that will help me regarding my future.
