Chamber Appreciati­on Banquet

Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce will have its 2017 Member Appreciati­on Banquet at 6 p.m. April 13 in Randall G. Lynch Middle School commons area. Phillip Taldo, Arkansas Highway commission­er, will be the featured speaker.

The banquet is free but chamber members are asked to RSVP by April 7. To sign up, email Budd Smith at bsmith@ farmcards.org.

Spring Cleanup City of Farmington will have its spring cleanup 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday, April 14 and 7:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 15. Location is behind the fire department on Main Street. Bring proof of residency, also includes free electronic­s recycling. For more informatio­n, call City Hall, 264-3865.

Jazz Band Dance

The Prairie Grove High School Jazz Band is holding its Spring Dance on April 15 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. The entry fee is $5. We are excited to announce that the Farmington High School Jazz Band will be joining us on stage. Join us for a night of fun, food, dancing and some great Jazz.

Fire Department Spaghetti Dinner

Wedington Volunteer Fire Department will have its annual Spaghetti Dinner, 5-8 p.m., Saturday, April 15.

Cost is $6 for adults, $2 for under age 12, free for under age 6. The fire station is located 5 miles from I-49 (exit 64) on Highway 16 West. Proceeds will be used to purchase fire-fighting equipment
