Pee Wee Basketball Camp The annual Prairie Grove Tigers pee wee basketball camp will be held from May 31 - June 3 at the new Prairie Grove gym.

The camp is for grades 1-7. Early bird registration is $35 before May 19. The cost is $40 per camper after May 19. Make checks payable to Tiger/Lady Tiger basketball. The fee includes a T-shirt and basketball. Parents may download a camp brochure from the Prairie Grove Athletics Facebook page and fill out a form indicating T-shirt size, parental contact information and sign a medical release for each camper wanting to participate.

The camp has three basic objectives: to teach a basic knowledge of the rules of basketball, improve fundamental basketball skills, and train campers how to be a part of a team.

The camp schedule for Wednesday, May 1, through Friday, June 2, is as follows: boys and girls entering grades 1-3 will participate in the camp from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.; boys and girls entering grades 4-7 will participate in the camp from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The camp schedule for Saturday, June 3, is as follows: boys and girls entering grades 1-3 will participate in the camp from 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.; boys and girls entering grades 4-7 will participate in the camp from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Saturday is the camp wrap-up and parents are encouraged to attend.
