- Special to Enterprise-Leader

On Tuesday, June 6, an afternoon of golf will benefit local high school seniors in Farmington and services for Farmington Chamber of Commerce members.

The 2017 Joe Bailey Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Stonebridge Meadows Golf Club, one of the premier golf courses in Arkansas.

Money will help fund scholarships for Farmington High School senior students, as well as providing services to the Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce.

Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m., lunch will be served at noon and tee times will begin at 1 p.m. There will be four-person teams, with a $320 per team entry fee.

Tee busters and mulligans are available for $10 per player, and the team total including mulligans would be $360.

Prizes will be handed out for the longest drive, closest to the pin, hole-inones and cash prizes for first and second place.

The golf tournament is an opportunity to make the community aware of how much good can come out of the scholarships and supporting the chamber.

Hole sponsorships are also available. No jeans or outside alcohol permitted. For more information, contact Budd Smith at (479) 979-4244 or bsmith@farmcards.org.
