New Wheels

Lincoln Police Department has a new 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe that was purchased with the assistance of a $25,000 grant from Arkansas Economic Development Division of Rural Services. The four-wheel drive vehicle cost $47,000 fully equipped, with the city paying the balance. The money was available from general improvement funds. State Rep. Charlene Fite and Sen. Jim Hendren wrote letters of support on behalf of the city’s grant application.
