Theda Faye Cawthon Ezell of Siloam Springs (Wedington), died Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was born on Sept. 29, 1928, in Tulsa, Okla., a daughter of Leonard Cawthon and Lula Hunton Cawthon.

She was the widow of the late Billie Dale Ezell, whom she wed on June 22, 1946. She and Dale were dairy farmers for many years on the farm that has been in the family since the 1860s. She enjoyed sewing, canning, gardening, spending time with family and going on vacations.

She was the Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star for the State of Arkansas in 1979 and then served as the Worth Grand Secretary of the Order of the Eastern Star for the State of Arkansas for 10 years. She was a member of the Weddington Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Richard Dale Ezell and husband John Michael Morgan of Atlanta, Ga., and Michael Lloyd Ezell and wife Holly Anne Millsap Ezell of Wedington; sister, Helen Lorene Douthit of Prairie Grove, Ark.; three sisters-in-law, Helen Lucille Slaten Ezell of Farmington, Ark., Anna Elizabeth Brandon Ezell of Springdale, Ark., and Julie Margrett Burdick Ezell of Anaheim, Calif.; four grandchild­ren, Stephania Anne Ezell Abell and husband Charles Dana Abell of Norman, Okla., Christophe­r Dale Ezell and wife Penny Celeste Stewart Ezell of Fayettevil­le, Nathan Michael Ezell and wife Rebekah Allie Falkner of Austin, Texas, and Rachel Anne Ezell and husband Michael Travers O’Keefe of Duxbury, Mass.; seven great-grandchild­ren, Zachary Hayden Abell and Benjamin Orin Abell of Norman, Okla., Katherine Elizabeth Ezell and Alexander Dale Ezell of Fayettevil­le, and Alden Ezell O’Keefe, Harold Dale O’Keefe and Abner Harmon O’Keefe all of Duxbury; and numerous nieces, nephews, greatniece­s, great-nephews, and cousins.

Services were held Friday, May 12, 2017, at Weddington Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Misenheime­r officiatin­g the service. Interment was at Weddington Cemetery.
