William George Wright, Jr., 63 year old resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, died June 1, 2017, at his home. Born November 19, 1953, in Washington, Indiana, he was the son of William “Bill” Wright and Helen Webber Wright.

William graduated high school in Pomona, California. He graduated from National University in California with a Master’s Degree in Counseling. William married Mitzi Bailey on June 21, 1975, in Springtown, Arkansas. He worked as a marriage and family counselor for many years, spending a lot of that time working for local school systems in Northwest Arkansas. He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Summers, Ark.

He is survived by his wife, Mitzi Wright; three daughters, Shannon Owens and husband Rob of Gentry, Arkansas, Stacey Allen and husband Josh of Springdale, Arkansas, and Chandlor Wright of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; six grandchild­ren: Meledy Owens, Sonny Owens, Abel Owens, Hayden Allen, Evan Allen, and Anniston Allen; his mother, Helen Wright of Bentonvill­e, Arkansas; his father, Bill Wright and wife Rosa of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one brother, Jim Wright of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and one sister, Debbie Ransom and husband Randy of Gentry, Arkansas.
