FARMINGTON

Blood Drive American Red Cross will sponsor a blood drive from 3:30-7:30 p.m., Thursday, June 29 at 1 Day Fitness, 11679 Cactus Jack Road. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply of blood for patients. For more informatio­n, go to redcross. org. July 4 Fireworks City of Farmington will sponsor its annual fireworks show, beginning at dark, Tuesday, July 4, at Farmington High School football stadium.

Wheels For Meals O’Reilly Auto Parts, 57 W. Main St., will sponsor a car show, Wheels for Meals, with all proceeds to benefit Farmington Activity and Wellness Center and its Meals on Wheels program. The car show will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, July 8. No entry fee but a $20 donation will be accepted. Concession­s will be available and prizes awarded.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Astronomy Night Friends of Prairie Grove Library will present an Astronomy Night at 8:30 p.m., Friday, June 30 at Prairie Grove United Methodist Church, 1401 E. Parks St., in Prairie Grove. Dr. Daniel Barth with the University of Arkansas will lead the night. Admission is a gently used books or a non-perishable food item. Come view the moon, Jupiter and Saturn with us.

Celebrate Prairie Grove Celebrate Prairie Grove will be held 7-10 p.m., Saturday, July 1. The Prairie Grove Aquatic Park will be open free of charge for swimming. Free hot dog supper and drinks and free inflatable­s will be on site. Fireworks display will go off at dark.
