FARMINGTON

Zumba Classes Farmington Senior Activity and Wellness Center will have Zumba classes, 3 p.m. Mondays and Fridays. Free for seniors over 60 and $5 per class for under 60. Geared for seniors who desire to stay active.

Back To School Bonanza The Farmington Back to School Bonanza will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, at Farmington United Methodist Church, 355 Southwinds Drive. The bonanza is free and open to students in kindergart­en-12th grade. All are welcome but the child must be present.

Farmington High Open House The new Farmington High School will have an Open House from 3-6 p.m., Monday, Aug. 14. The public is invited to come see the new building.

LINCOLN

Back To School Bonanza Lincoln Back to School Bonanza will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, at Lincoln Elementary cafeteria. The free event is open to children pre-K through seventh grade. Children must be present with a parent or guardian to receive the services and items.

Hee Haw Show Lincoln Senior Center will have its annual Hee Haw Show, Saturday, Aug. 12. Dinner is at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. The meal will be a barbecue brisket dinner and includes drink and dessert. Nathan D. Mefford’s 100th

Birthday

A celebratio­n is planned to honor Nathan D. Mefford on his 100th birthday, in the Lincoln Senior Center, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6. No gifts please, but cards will be welcome.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Speaker On Drug Abuse Stephanie Siete, a drug prevention specialist, will be the featured speaker for parents concerning informatio­n about drug abuse, illegal drugs and related topics at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 8 in the Prairie Grove High School cafeteria.

2nd Saturday Trades Day The next 2nd Saturday Trades Day will be Aug. 12 and many activities are planned. The theme is “End of Summer Blast/Dancing in the Grove.” A kids’ zone with water slide, bounce house, snow cones and other activities will open at 10 a.m. downtown. Other events going on will be a dunk tank, concession­s and live music starting at 5 p.m. Dancing in the Grove will be from 7-9 p.m.
