Stampede 5K

Zach Akridge, left, Collin Hummel, Cole Cash and Blaine Chambers take off for the Farmington Stampede 5K race on Saturday morning on Broyles Street near Wiilliams Elementary School. Proceeds from the annual race benefit Farmington Back to School Bonanza and Farmington’s cross-country teams. Trail McFarland of Fayetteville won the 5K with a race time of 17 minutes and 30 seconds. A total of 131 participants registered for the 5K race and a 1K race.
