Donald Lee Gilbreath

Donald Lee Gilbreath, 80, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 28, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ark., the son of William Spence and Vilene (Spears) Gilbreath.

He was an avid Razorback fan and coached youth baseball for many years. He enjoyed farming and spending time with grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, W.S. Jr. and Richard Gilbreath.

He is survived by two sons, Mike Gilbreath and wife Shonnie, and Donnie Gilbreath; one daughter, Kristen Gilbreath and husband Bob Shortt; seven grandchild, Michaela Gilbreath, Crystal Coker, Megan Fox and husband Cody, Logan Gilbreath, Tristan Gilbreath, Morgan Shortt and Michael Shortt; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ark.
