Welcome Autumn! The patch on the one particular tree we watch from the library started turning colors a couple of weeks ago and we are so excited about the cooler temperatures!!

The Arkansas Apple Festival is coming up soon, if you are interested in helping please call me here at the library at 824-3294. The parade will start at 10 a.m. with pre-judging at 9 a.m. for all the floats, antique cars and tractors. Lots of fun, crafts and food to be enjoyed the first weekend in October here in Lincoln!

We are also starting up Fall Story Time with Ms. Sherry Rodgers Sept. 5 (on Wednesdays 10 a.m. here in Lincoln) through Dec. 22. Her Book Talkers Club will also be meeting Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Students 6th grade and up are welcome to come and be a part of this free club. For more information, you can always call us here at the library.

Are you getting ready to put up your Fall harvest, or “prepping” for winter, maybe winterizing your home? We have books that can help you and/or computers that you can use for research. Don’t be caught unprepared! Come by and see us here at the Lincoln Public Library to help.

Summer was nice and hopefully this Fall will be beautiful. It’s time to think about curling up in your favorite blanket with a good book or movie because… Winter is coming.

Talk to you soon!
