Arvest Bank will honor teachers throughout the state of Arkansas by awarding 29 educators with a total of $14,500 in prize money.

The decision to award 29 $500 gifts to individual teachers from a pool of more than 41 communities was made out of respect and appreciation for the work teachers do. All prizes will go to teachers who work at state-funded schools.

“Arvest understands how important teachers are to our children, our communities, and our future,” said Lindsey Taylor, marketing manager for Arvest in Siloam Springs. “We appreciate how hard teachers work and hope these awards will be accepted as a show of gratitude and gratefulness.”
