Lincoln Girls Win

LINCOLN — The Lincoln girls basketball team tightened things up when they needed to, limiting Pea Ridge to six fourth-quarter points on their way to a 47-36 homecourt victory Dec. 19. Junior Jessica Goldman led the Lady Wolves (7-6, 4-3) in scoring with 17 points. The Lady Wolves establishe­d an 11-4 lead going into the second quarter and continued to stay in front at 18-14 by the half. Pea Ridge scored 16 points in the third, but Lincoln put up 17. The Lady Wolves sealed the win by outscoring Pea Ridge 12-6 in the fourth.

Lincoln vs. Haas Hall

FAYETTEVIL­LE — In what may be a school record, 14 Lincoln players scored as the Lady Wolves handed Haas Hall a 61-12 loss on Dec. 15. The Lady Wolves’ dominance was complete. Lincoln scored in double figures in every quarter while not allowing more than four points in any quarter. Lincoln jumped out to a 17-2 first quarter lead which they extended to 35-6 at the half. By the end of the third quarter, Lincoln’s advantage was 51-10 and despite emptying the bench only two points were scored by Haas Hall in the fourth. A trio of Lady Wolves shared scoring honors with 8 points each. Scoring for Lincoln were: Jessica Goldman, 8; Madison Jones, 8; Tanner Robb, 8; Kinley Webb, 7; Hollie Webb, 5; Robin Kirk, 4; Kali Brewer, 4; Katie Lankford, 4; Libby Calico, 3; Tristan Cunningham, 2; Allison Cunningham, 2; Averi Massey, 2; Arianna Ortiz, 2; and Shea Woolsey, 2.
