Little Cardinal’s Story Time Farmington Public Library will start a new story time for preschool children at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays. The first one will be Feb. 6 and it will continue through April 24. Little Cardinal’s Story Time is best for ages 2-5 but younger and older children also are welcome.

AARP Driver Safety Class An AARP Driver Safety Class will be held 9 a.m. Jan. 27 at Central United Methodist Church, 6 East Dickson St., in Fayettevil­le. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Classes are designed for drivers over the age of 50. Call 479-621-3089 for more informatio­n.

Chamber Banquet Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce will have its annual banquet, 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Lincoln High School. Steve Clark, president of Fayettevil­le Chamber of Commerce, will be the speaker. Tickets are two for $20, $12 for individual at the door. Awards presented will be recipient of the 18th Annual Bud Cox Award and presentati­on of the 2nd Annual John M. Harvey Outstandin­g Youth Award. Call 824-1030 for more informatio­n.

Land Use/Street Plan Meeting A subcommitt­ee meeting monthly to develop a new future land use plan and master street plan will have its next meeting at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the City Council/District Courtroom. The public is invited to participat­e in these meetings.
