Bonnie Marie Carr

Bonnie Marie (Savoy) Carr, 54, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on Feb. 15, 2018.

She was born on Nov. 23, 1963, in Morgan City, La., to Leonard and Rita (Dupuy) Savoy. On Sept. 26, 2009, she would marry her loving husband, Michael Dale Carr. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, sister-inlaw, aunt and friend. She was a long-time employee for Lowe’s Home Improvement where they honored her for her faithful service. People would fall in love with her after spending any amount of time with her. She had a contagious laugh that would lift the spirits of those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Rita Savoy; and three brothers, Barry Savoy, David Savoy and Mark Savoy.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of over eight years, Michael Carr of Fayetteville; one son, Justin Faubus of Fayetteville; two daughters, Kasey Estes and husband Jeremiah of Fayetteville; Lana Carr of Prairie Grove, Ark.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers, sisters, sisters-in-law and and a brother-in-law.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at Fayetteville First Assembly of God, with burial in Mount Comfort Cemetery in Fayetteville. Memorial donations may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E. Longview St., Fayetteville, AR 72703.
