Gail Dean Davis Sr.
Gail Dean Davis Sr., 77, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at the Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville,
Ark.
He was born Nov. 4, 1940, in Big Springs, Neb., the son of Paul C. and Mildred Vivine (Smith) Davis. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era. He had volunteered at the Veterans Hospital for 12 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Vivine Smith; stepfather, Cleo D. Cowart; sister, Joyce Davis; and his biological father, Paul C. Davis.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Irene Davis; three sons, Gail Dean Davis Jr. and wife JoAnne of American Canyon, Calif.; Mark D. Davis and wife Mary Anna of Prairie Grove and Michael D. Lizotte and wife Marnie Abrahamson of St. George, Utah; one daughter, Terri Davis and husband Eddie of Prairie Grove; seven grandchildren, Joshua Davis, Stephen Davis, Catherine Davis, Aaron Davis, Makayla Davis, Maisy Davis, and Madison Davis.
The family received friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Prairie Grove. Burial followed with military honors at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville.
