Tree Identifica­tion Hike

Historic Cane Hill will host a Tree Identifica­tion Hike, 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23. The hike will be a chance to check out the trails, the historic town and learn facts about trees. Meet at A.R. Carroll Drugstore, wear sturdy shoes, bring a snack and water.

FARMINGTON

Fireworks Display

The city’s annual fireworks display and Freedom Fest will be held Saturday, June 30. Fireworks will go off at dark, around 9 p.m., from the middle school parking lot. Farmington High football field will be open for people to view the display.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Friends Of Prairie Grove Pound

Bluewinkle Berry Farm will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of blackberri­es and several types of plants to help raise money for a new cat building for Friends of Prairie Grove Pound. All berries at the farm are organicall­y grown. The farm is located at 10974 Ravenwood Road in Prairie Grove. You-pick hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Call 846-6030 for more informatio­n.

Celebrate Prairie Grove The city of Prairie Grove will sponsor its annual “Celebrate Prairie Grove” on Saturday, June 30, at Prairie Grove Aquatic Park and outside the park. The pool will reopen at 7 p.m. for free swimming. Bouncy houses will be open free to children and non-profit organizati­ons will provide concession­s for a fee. Fireworks will start at dark and also are free to the public.
