Dutch Mills Cemetery Meeting The annual meeting of the Dutch Mills Cemetery Associatio­n will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills. All those interested are welcome to attend.

FARMINGTON

Fire Department Pancake Breakfast Farmington Fire Department will have its annual pancake breakfast, 6-10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at the station. Tickets are $5, kids younger than eat 6 free. The breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, and drinks.

Celebratin­g 20 Years Farmington Senior Activity & Wellness Center will celebrate its 20th anniversar­y, 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 3. The public is invited.

State Park Lecture Series

Dr. Schieffler will present a program on the TransMissi­ssippi Army and the Helena Campaign from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Latta Barn at Prairie Grove Battlefiel­d State Park. Schieffler is a professor of history at Crowder College in Neosho, Mo.

Bark Ranger Day Prairie Grove Battlefiel­d State Park will sponsor Bark Ranger Day, 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 23. Dog owners are encouraged to bring their pets to the park and learn the rules of B.A.R.K., hike the battlefiel­d trail and go home with a certificat­e. The free event will be located in the village area near the start of the battlefiel­d trail.

Blood Drive Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive, 8:15 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Prairie Grove High School, 500 N. Cole St.

Town Hall Meeting Prairie Grove schools will present a Town Hall meeting on “Preventing Underaged Drinking and Vaping,” 5:30 p.m., Monday, April 8, at the Prairie Grove High School cafeteria. Washington County Sheriff’s Office will provide free burgers, hotdogs, chips and drinks. Speaker is Dr. Rodney Wambeam with the University of Wyoming. The event is sponsored by Prairie Grove Police Department and Project Right Choice.
