David Randall Allison, 68, passed away on May 18, 2020, in Pearland, Texas.

He was born on Aug. 14, 1951, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was the eldest of four children born to the late James Randall Allison and Bonnie Lou Allison.

He grew up with a love of sports, working in chicken farms, and later a career in carpentry that led to him working in the Civil industry. He was a hard worker with very strong work ethics. He had a love for family, muscle cars, motorcycles, hunting and watching old Westerns. He was a stubborn and hardheaded man but the biggest gentle giant you’ve ever met. He believed in taking care of others as a priority and was extremely selfless. If you ever shook hands with him, you would be prepared the next time. He could force a grown man to his knees.

He is survived by his two daughters, Ali D. Bell married to Chris and their two sons, Justin Phillips and Randall McCord, and Marjorie Frenzel married to Doug and their daughter, Kathie Frenzel; sister, Shirley Allison Dick and her husband Paul and their children Lisa Ann Cooper, James Cooper and Allison Andrews; brother, Michael Allison and his two daughters April Ann King and Laura Allison; sister Sharon Allison Richina and husband Richard and their children Bonnie Richina and Richard Richina III.

His graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July, 18, 2020, at Cane Hill Cemetery, 18136 Canehill Road, Lincoln, AR 72744. There will be a Celebration of Life following directly after the graveside service at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park, 506 E. Douglas St., Prairie Grove, AR 72753.

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove is in charge of arrangements.
