Typically, as Americans think nostalgica­lly about presidents, their approval goes up. Former President Donald Trump’s has increased 12 points, for example. Clinton is the only one to drop in a new Gallup “retrospect­ive” survey. He’s down to 58% approval from 66% when he left office . ...

✪ The Heritage Foundation has promoted Dan Mauler to serve as general counsel. He will also continue to serve as the top lawyer at Heritage Action for America. He worked in the Trump Justice Department as a trial lawyer.
