Now is the Time

-

Late last night, as we were on deadline for this issue, we were looking through the pages as we were finalizing them with the printer and a thought entered our mind—what a wonderful time it is for the Western art market! And, of course, how wonderful it is for us to get to be a part of it.

While I know things have changed over the years, take a look at what is happening now—we are blessed with such a large group of up-andcoming artists who are really at the peak of their game right now, doing some of the best work of their careers. People like Mark Maggiori, Glenn Dean, Brett Allen Johnson, Kyle Sims, Jason Rich, Jeremy Lipking, Josh Elliott, Amery Bohling, Logan Maxwell Hagege, Kyle Polzin, G. Russell Case, David Grossmann, Chad Poppleton, Hyrum Joe, Teal Blake, Roseta Santiago, Jeremy Winborg, Jennifer Johnson, Tyler Murphy, Kenneth

Yarus, Daniel J. Keys, Richie Carter, Luke Frazier, Nicholas Coleman, Eric Bowman, Kim Wiggins and Grant Redden. And then established artists such as John Moyers, Jim Morgan, Martin Grelle, Ed Mell, Walter Matia, Dean Mitchell, Loren Entz, Bill Anton, George Carlson, Terri Kelly Moyers, Bruce Greene, John Coleman, C. Michael Dudash, Paul Moore, William Acheff, Oreland Joe, George Hallmark, Z.S. Liang, Andy Thomas, Tim Solliday… pause, for a breath. And that is just the beginning.

Oh yes, and Howard Terpning is still painting as well! All of these artists. All at the top of their game. Creating some of the best work of their careers. And we, the fortunate ones, get to see it, write about it, buy it, admire it, talk about it, have symposiums about it, listen to lectures about it… what else is better than this???

That is why we feel that now is the time for Western art. It’s happening. All this is happening. Right now. At this moment. If you’re not a part of it. It’s time.

P.S. Don’t forget our website also features additional paintings by all these artists with links directly to inquire to the gallery. Take a look today at www.westernartcollector.com.
