Western Art Collector

Our Art Book Library Grows as We Reach Our 200 th Issue!

-

Welcome to the April issue of Western Art Collector! That is correct, this is our 200th issue and we are excited to share some design refreshes with you throughout the magazine! Michael Clawson’s letter on the next page takes a deep dive into reaching this milestone and he describes some of the changes we made to mark the occasion. We also have a feature looking back at some of our most famous covers to celebrate our 200th issue, which begins on Page 36. Additionally, we have special sections devoted to the Old West, national parks and the state of Texas, all of which should help you celebrate the spring season as you make travel plans. These events and destinations are the cornerstones of the Western art genre.

We also have some news: In March we launched the expansion of our IAP bookstore with our art book affiliate program. The team at Western Art Collector could not be more proud to provide a bridge for collectors to find the art books about the artists they love to learn more about them. Our IAP bookstore is a place for you to peruse your favorite books, back issues and digital downloads. Our guarantee is that each book offered is approved by our editorial team before placement in our store which you can find at www.internationalartmagazineshop.com. Let us help you continue your art education!

There are more than 25 shows, gallery openings and auction events going on this month and Western Art Collector will be at the majority of them. I could go on but it would take up two more pages—that is how much is going on this month! I think the best way to experience Western Art Collector this month is to dive into this very special issue with its stunning new design.
