OCH of Gravette welcomes podiatrist to specialty clinic

GRAVETTE — Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette announced the addition of Kory D. Miskin, DPM. Dr. Miskin is a podiatrist joining the OCH of Gravette specialty clinic, at 1101 S. Jackson Street, in December.

“We are thrilled to have a podiatrist at the hospital,” says Jackie Powell, OCH of Gravette specialty clinic manager. “Our surgery department has continued to grow, and this is a much needed specialty for our patients.”

Dr. Miskin can perform clinical procedures, including the removal of ingrown toenails, warts and precancero­us lesions, minor hammertoe procedures and removal of foreign bodies. He will also offer surgical procedures including bunion, hammertoe and flatfoot reconstruc­tion, neurectomi­es, plantar fasciotomy, heel spurs, fracture repair, ankle scopes and fusions, equinus procedures, forefoot and hindfoot fusions, amputation­s, tarsal tunnel releases and soft tissue mass excisions.

Dr. Miskin received his education from Br igham Young University in Provo, Utah, and from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He is currently a member of the American Podiatric Medical Associatio­n and American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
