Hazel Lorene Addington

Hazel Lorene Addington, 80, of Decatur, died Nov. 22, 2017, at Siloam Springs Nursing and Rehab, Siloam Springs.

She was born April 2, 1937, in Fredonia, Kan., to Lenard Dannels and Stella Noakes Dannels. She married Doral Addington Sept. 11, 1954.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband, Doral; daughter, Lisa Addington of Decatur; two grandchild­ren, Aaron Hixson and Brian Goodwin; two sisters, Ella Ann Lee and Betty Lee, both of Sheridan, Wyo.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Carolyn J. Bowman

Carolyn J. Bowman, 71, of Gentry, died Nov. 26, 2017, at Quail Ridge Living Center, West Siloam Springs, Okla.

She was born Oct. 27, 1946, in Siloam Springs, to Austin Ivey and Virginia Janes Ivey. She was a retired nurse and married William Bowman on June 1, 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother, A.J. Ivey.

Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey Sikes of Fayettevil­le, and Darin Sikes of Mississipp­i; one grandchild; a brother, Jim Ivey and wife Judy of Gentry.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at Fayettevil­le National Cemetery, Fayettevil­le. Arrangemen­ts are by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.

Jewel Dean Crawley

Jewel Dean Crawley, 87, of Maysville, died Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonvill­e, after a sudden illness.

She was born Dec.

2, 1929, in Mannford,

Okla., to Albert Louis and Crochia Priscilla (Posten) Swart. She was raised in Mannford and was a 1948 graduate of Olive High School in Olive, Okla. While working in Tulsa, Okla., at Rock Oil Company, she met Don Crawley, and on Oct. 1, 1955, they were united in marriage. For several years she worked alongside her husband in the operation of their dairy and poultry farm. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Gravette, a former 4-H leader and a member of the Maysville EH Club since 1955. She enjoyed time with her family and was an avid quilter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of nearly 61 years, Don Crawley (on Sept. 14, 2016); two brothers, JC and Bill Swart; and two sisters, Imogene Kirkpatric­k and Cora Lee Neiffer.

She is survived by her three sons, Russell Crawley and wife Melinda of Maysville, Dennis Crawley and wife Ellen of Nixa, Mo., and Tim Crawley and wife Nikki, of Maysville; nine grandchild­ren; and five great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral services were Nov. 22, at the Church of Christ in Gravette, with Robert Lawson and Bob Kirkley officiatin­g. Arrangemen­ts were by Ozark Funeral Home in Southwest City, Mo.

Charles ‘Dan’ Fagala

Charles “Dan” Fagala, 79, of Bella Vista, died Nov. 19, 2017.

He was born March

1, 1938, in

Cave Springs to Eldridge and Oleta Fagala. He was a Baptist minister and pastored churches in Fayettevil­le; Munford, Tenn; Wynne; Gravette; and Bella Vista. He was also a school teacher in the Gravette School District, worked for the Gravette News Herald and was a graphic artist at the University of Arkansas, Agency Art Associates and Worldwide Art Studios. He loved to paint and draw and often was asked to paint a church mural or letter a church sign. He loved music, singing and crappie fishing. He also was the longtime “voice of Gravette Lions football.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Sherry Lynn Fagala.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Fagala; daughter, Janette (Gary) Willis; son, Danny (Robin) Fagala; grandchild­ren, Heather (Brian) Thomas, Kirby Willis, Lauren (Jonah) Farris, Kelsey (fiancé Jordan) Fagala, and Kaylen Fagala; three greatgrand­children; one brother, Robin (Myrna) Fagala; one sister, Florence Lee.

Funeral services were Saturday, Nov. 25, at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Arrangemen­ts were by Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, Bella Vista.
