SSRH welcomes Harp to medical staff

- STAFF REPORTS

SILOAM SPRINGS — Family Medicine provider E. Beth Harp, D.O., has joined the medical staff of Siloam Springs Regional Hospital and will be seeing patients at Siloam Springs Family Medicine.

Harp previously practiced medicine at the Wilma P. Mankiller Health Center in Stilwell, Okla. She and her family currently reside in Westville, Okla., on a dairy farm. The Harps have strong ties to the Siloam Springs community as well.

“I graduated from Westville High School and am married to my high school sweetheart, Wesley,” Harp said. “We have four very active children.” The family also attends Siloam Springs Baptist Church where Dr. Harp volunteers with the Awana program.

A graduate of Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Harp completed her residency with the Tahlequah City Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program.

“During my medical career, I’ve had a lot of experience with common medical conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and thyroid disorders,” Dr. Harp said. “I have experience with knee and shoulder injections, as well as skin lesions and biopsies.”

Dr. Harp has joined the practice of Siloam Springs Family Medicine located at 1101-1 N. Progress Ave. in Siloam Springs. She is accepting new patients and same-day appointments are available.

“Being born and raised in rural Oklahoma shaped the person and ultimately the physician I am today,” Dr. Harp said. “Growing up, I always loved science and problem-solving.”

Dr. Harp said family medicine has allowed her to provide comprehensive medical care to her patients and be on the front lines of preventive care and screenings for all ages.

“During residency, I loved how the family medicine physicians had the opportunity to take care of a patient for many years. I feel like this is so important in building trust and effective communication which ultimately improves patient health.”

Harp says her goal is to work hard and provide compassionate and quality health care to all of her patients. When she is not at work, Harp enjoys spending time with her family, running and watching baseball.

Siloam Springs Family Medicine may be contacted at 479-215-3035. Appointments may also be scheduled with Dr. Harp online at MyNorthwestAnycare.com.
