MARCH 25

MARCH 29

• Maundy Thursday service will be at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend our Maundy Thursday service where we will feature a “simple supper” (no charge) made up of soup, bread, and water served in the Fellowship Hall. The meal is part of the worship service and will conclude with a silent entry into the Sanctuary for the stripping of the altar. • Maundy Thursday service will include a special musical performance of Dubois’s “Seven Last Words of Christ” at 7 p.m., in the Sanctuary. • Good Friday “Prayer Around the Cross” service will be at 6:30 p.m. This service continues the journey through the Three Days of Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection. At the heart of this service is a reading of Christ’s passion, Taizé-style music, and centering prayer around the cross. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 2925 Old Missouri Road, Fayetteville. • Good Friday Crosswalk will take place at 2:30 p.m., weather permitting. Carry the cross and walk as Jesus walked. The walk will start at the Highlands Golf Course parking lot and travel along Glasgow Road to the church, about a quarter of a mile. If you don’t think you can make the trek, you are invited to stand along the road nearer the church and join the procession as it passes or meet the cross as it arrives at Highlands Church about 2:45. MARCH 31

• Our Annual Easter Egg Hunt is just around the corner. It will be held at Pea Ridge Blackhawk Stadium. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and the hunt at 11 a.m.There will be 12,000 eggs for the children of our community as well as prizes that we will be giving away. The Ridge Community Church, 836 N. APRIL 1

• Easter Sunday services will be at 9 and 11 a.m. This morning is the culmination of the Three Days, a festive celebration of the eschatological hope for the fulfillment of God’s promises. We proclaim, “Jesus Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Alleluia!” We will also have an Easter Breakfast. Easter Egg hunt will take place at 10:40. • Sunrise Service will be held at 6:30 a.m. Easter Service will be at 9 a.m. The family of Loetha Dennett will be attending and planting a Dogwood after the service to honor the memory of Loetha.
