- STAFF REPORTS

GRAVETTE — Ozarks Community Hospital is celebrating its 10th anniversary by hosting an open house. Community members in Gravette and the surrounding area are invited to the event, which will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 12.

The open house will take place in the front lobby of the hospital and will feature refreshments and door prizes, as well as guided tours to allow guests to learn about the expanded services OCH has to offer.

“So much has changed at Ozarks Community Hospital of Gravette since we opened in 2008, we felt it would be appropriate to showcase these changes and offer guided tours to the public,” explained Amanda Gittlein, marketing manager for OCH. “We are continuously remodeling and renovating the interior. We want to remind the Gravette community that we are here and let them know we are always adding new technology and new services.”

The hospital, formerly known as Gravette Medical Center Hospital, was reopened by OCH in April 2008. After the acquisition by OCH, the hospital immediately offered a 25-bed inpatient service, a 24-hour emergency room and outpatient services, including lab and radiology. Since then, OCH has installed new state-of-the-art equipment and continued to grow, adding a swing-bed program, sleep lab, therapy services, behavioral health, pain management, pediatrics, podiatry and general surgery, just to name a few.

The OCH Health System is a tri-state safety-net healthcare provider headquartered in Gravette, serving both urban and rural communities throughout the Ozarks. The hospital is based in Gravette and includes a multitude of clinics located in southwest Missouri, northwest Arkansas and northeast Oklahoma. OCH locations can accept Medicaid, Medicare, UHC Military and other insurances. For more information visit www.OCHonline.com.
