Norma Faye Skaggs

Norma Faye Skaggs, 84, of Springtown, died Dec. 6, 2018, at Siloam Healthcare, Siloam Springs.

She was born Nov. 19, 1934, in Benton County, to John H. Shook and Frances E. Harris Shook. She married Kenneth Eugene Skaggs on June 1, 1951, in Bentonvill­e. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Highfill.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three grandsons, Michael Riggs, Victor Skaggs and Jonathan Miller; and one brother, Wayne Shook.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Skaggs of Gentry, and Kenny

Karen Michele Combs

A celebratio­n of life service, honoring and rememberin­g the life of Karen Combs, will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday evening, December 12, 2018, at the Vera Full Gospel Church in Vera, Oklahoma. Karen passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was 65.

Karen Michele Combs was born December 16, 1952, in Siloam Springs, AR, the third daughter of Paul Dean Browning and Mary Elizabeth (Fairless) Browning.

Karen Michelle Combs was a kind-hearted, generous and independen­t person. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart. Her grandkids were one of Skaggs and wife Elizabeth of Springtown; daughters, Julie Miller and husband David of Gentry, Caroline Riggs and husband Howard of Gentry, and Lisa Skaggs of Tahlequah, Okla.; 17 grandchild­ren; 20 greatgrand­children; sisters, Betty Milszarski of Rogers, and Peggy Jackson of Temple, Texas; brothers, J.L. Shook of West Fork, and Donny Shook of Gentry.

Funeral services were Monday, Dec. 10, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs. Burial followed at Springtown Cemetery in Springtown. Arrangemen­ts were by Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs. her greatest joys. She was a life-long Christian and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Claremore.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Dean Browning, and her mother, Mary Elizabeth Browning.

She is survived by her son Paul and his wife, Beth; three grandchild­ren, Daniel, Clarisa, and Levi; her three sisters, Ann, Paula and Kim; and many other relatives and friends.

She will be forever loved and greatly missed by all.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Karen’s name to the United Methodist Church in Decatur, Arkansas, P.O. Box 709, Decatur, AR 72722.
