Albert LeRoy Jordan

Albert LeRoy Jordan, 92, of Gentry, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, March 8, 2019, at his home. Born December 5, 1926, in Gravette, Arkansas, he was the son of Fred Jordan and Lena Hidy Jordan. LeRoy married Mabel Smith on February 16, 1947, and was married for 55 years until she passed away in December of 2002. He married Carol Summers on May 6, 2006, in Gentry. They enjoyed 13 years together before he went to be with the Lord. LeRoy worked at Twiggs IGA for several years and then at Franklin Electric before he retired. He was a longtime member at First Baptist Church and served as a deacon for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mabel; and greatgrandson, Derek William Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, son, Ron Jordan and wife Julie, a daughter, Connie Arnold, all of Gentry, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jeff and Christi Trammell of Gentry, Kyle and Jessica Jordan of Gentry, Ashley Graver and husband Tanner of Shawnee, Kansas, and Katrina Wright and husband David of Gentry; four stepchildren and their families; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2019, at First Baptist Church in Gentry, Arkansas, with the Rev. Joe Finfrock officiating. Burial will follow at Gentry Cemetery.
