Casey Barnes

Casey Barnes, 19, of Gravette, died July 5, 2019, at his home in Gravette.

He was born on Dec. 6, 1999, in Gravette, to Justin and Inga Barnes. He loved diesel trucks, fishing, hunting, four-wheelers, being outdoors and camping. He was friendly and hardworkin­g.

He was preceded in death by one infant sister, Summer Lee Barnes.

He is survived by his sister, Sumer Barnes; his grandparen­ts, Patsy and William Robertson, and Wayne and Betty Barnes.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 13, at Life Way Christian School, located at First Baptist Centerton, 351 W. Centerton Blvd., Centerton, with burial following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette.

Arrangemen­ts were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Bella Vista.

Levi Barnes

Levi Barnes, 22, of Gravette, died July 5, 2019, at his home in Gravette.

He was born on June 24, 1997, in Gravette, to Justin and Inga Barnes. He loved hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers, kayaking, camping and being outdoors. He was friendly, hardworkin­g and funny.

He was preceded in death by one infant sister, Summer Lee Barnes.

He is survived by his sister, Sumer Barnes; his grandparen­ts, Patsy and William Robertson, and Wayne and Betty Barnes.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 13, at Life Way Christian School, located at First Baptist Centerton, 351 W. Centerton Blvd., Centerton, with burial following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette.

Arrangemen­ts were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Bella Vista.

Inga ‘Robertson’ Barnes

Inga “Robertson” Barnes, 42, of Gravette, died July 5, 2019, at her home in Gravette.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1976, in Gravette, to James William and Patsy (Carver) Robertson. She loved being a mom to Casey, Levi and Sumer. She married Justin Wayne Barnes on Aug. 3, 1994, in Hiwasse.

She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Summer Lee Barnes; and one brother, Casey James Robertson.

She is survived by her daughter, Sumer Barnes; parents, Patsy and William Robertson; her sister, Gidget Deshield and brother-in-law Scott Deshield.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 13, at Life Way Christian School, located at First Baptist Centerton, 351 W. Centerton Blvd., Centerton, with burial following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette.

Justin Barnes

Justin Barnes 45, of Gravette, died July 5, 2019, at his home in Gravette.

He was born on June 27, 1974, in Springdale to Wayne and Betty Barnes. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, riding fourwheele­rs and being outdoors. He was friendly and very hardworkin­g.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Samantha Webb; and brother, Jeff Barnes.

He is survived by his daughter, Sumer Barnes; parents, Wayne and Betty Barnes of Cave Springs; and his sister, Crystal Mckinney.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 13, at Life Way Christian School, located at First Baptist Centerton, 351 W. Centerton Blvd., Centerton, with burial following at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Gravette.

Arrangemen­ts were by Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory, Bella Vista.

Delbert Buffer

Delbert Buffer, 88, of Gravette, died on July 11, 2019.

He was born May 8, 1931, in Decatur, to Luther and Verna Mae (Burns) Buffer. He spent a part of his childhood in Girard, Kan., before moving back to Gravette with his family in 1938. His mother died in 1939. In 1942, at age 11, he rode a flatbed truck to Holly, Colo., where he worked the broom-corn harvest. He continued working for the rest of his life. In 1953, he married Xollie Alexander. They had five kids and farmed on Georgia Flat, raising chickens, beef cattle and milking dairy cows. In 2005, they sold a part of their Arkansas farm and moved to Walker, Mo., where they raised beef cattle. They “retired” and returned to Gravette in 2011 but still continued to raise beef cattle. Besides farming, Delbert loved owning and working his draft horse teams, and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Xollie; three sons, Vernon Buffer and wife Debbie, Larry Buffer and wife LaDonna, Chris Buffer and wife Ashley, all of Gravette; two daughters, Rhonda Brinkley and husband Dwayne of Gravette, Xollie Duncan Clinger and husband David of Hiwasse; 16 grandchild­ren; and 15 great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was held Monday, July 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Bella Vista Funeral Home, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 16, at 10 a.m. at the Georgia Flat Cemetery, west of Gravette.

Tim Eason

Tim H. Eason, 53, died on Thursday, July 11, 2019.

He was an avid golfer, a long-term Walmart associate and a dedicated Razorback fan.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Eason; his sons, Sean Eason, Chris Pollreis and Carson Pollreis; his daughter-in-law, Mary Kate Pollreis; two granddaugh­ters, Brylee and Collins; his parents, Lilburn and Patsy Eason; and many close friends.

A celebratio­n of his life was held at his home church, the Gravette Church of Christ, at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 15.

Gregory Ray Cripps

Gregory Ray Cripps, 82-year-old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, died on July 15, 2019, at his home. Greg was born on July 17, 1936, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to Charlie Burr Cripps and Virda Mae Porter. He was a lifelong resident of Gentry and went to work for the local phone company when he was 17. While working for the phone company, he witnessed a car drive into a pond and managed to save the family from drowning. Greg retired from CenturyTel in 1991 and went back to work in 1995 before retiring again in 2005. He married Emma Louise English on September 17, 1985. Greg served in the Army National Guard for four years. He was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma; grandson, Cori Alsip; his parents, Charlie and Virda Cripps; and three brothers, Ervin Cripps, Lemuel Cripps and Herman Cripps.

Greg is survived by seven children: Randy Cripps and wife Denise, Terri Swicegood and husband David, Barbara Delacerda and husband Jerry, Dee-Dee Lucas and husband Rick, Vicki Ward and husband Bryan, Tammy Dotson-Trefren and husband Paul, and Danny Dotson and wife Cindy; thirty-two grandchild­ren, forty-three great-grandchild­ren, and one great-great-grandchild; sister, Velma Louise Hartog and husband Paul; special friend and caregiver, Jeanie Boland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Gum Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Gordon Topping officiatin­g. Burial will follow at Bloomfield Cemetery in Gentry, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
