Gentry Public Library

First Baptist Food Pantry

First Baptist Church, located at 213 E. Roller Ave. in Decatur, holds a community food pantry on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. For more informatio­n, contact the church at 479-282-6658.

GFA Food Pantry

GFA Pantry Inc. at the Gentry Assembly is open from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. The pantry is drive-through only during the covid-19 pandemic. Clients are asked to call 662-727-5157 or email gfapantry@gmail.com for appointmen­ts. They then can pull up to the drivethrou­gh awning and someone will meet them outside and get them signed in and bring their food to their vehicle. This is until further notice. The church partners with the NWA Food Bank and Rural Compassion to receive food to be given away, including canned goods, fresh vegetables, bread, milk and dairy products, eggs and meats. Other items such as toilet paper, shampoo, cleaning products and baby supplies are also available as supplies last. For more informatio­n on the food pantry, please call 479-736-8415.

Bella Vista Area Radio Club

The Bella Vista Area Radio Club has begun holding online meetings while in-person monthly meetings are temporaril­y suspended. Anyone interested in amateur radio should “tune in” to the club’s YouTube Live webcasts at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. Links to the YouTube Channel and the club’s Facebook Group are at www.BellaVista­RadioClub.org. License exams have also been temporaril­y suspended.
