Jeannie June Michaud

Jeannie June Michaud, 94, of Hiwasse, died June 14, 2020, at Circle of Life — Legacy Village.

She was born June 8, 1926, to Edward and Margaret Peterson. She was born and raised in Rib Lake, Wis. She moved to Oahu, Hawaii, during the war, residing there for 40 years. She was a model and a profession­al ice skater for the Ice Follies, which later became the Ice Capades. She owned and operated the Glass Shack in Hawaii. In 1984, she moved to Bella Vista, where she lived for 20 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gene Michaud.

She is survived by her son, Rodney Mimm, and grandchild Tarynn.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 22, at Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel in Bella Vista. Face coverings are required.

Kenneth Wayne Jones

Kenneth Wayne Jones, 86, of Highfill, died June 11, 2020, at his home.

He was born Nov. 12, 1933, in Highfill, to Ernest and Goldie Jones. He married Norma on Jan. 24, 1955, and worked as a farmer. He was also a home siding installer and worked, as well, in other occupation­s.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Norma; son, Kenneth; and two grandchild­ren, Devren Eugene Saintingno­n and Presley Glenn White.

Survivors include his daughters, Cathi Mahurin of Highfill, and Patricia Foster and husband William of Bentonvill­e; and son, Donald Moore of Adair, Okla.; 13 grandchild­ren; numerous great-grandchild­ren; and brother, Jay Jones of Watts, Okla.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, June 15, at Highfill Cemetery in Highfill. Arrangemen­ts are by Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs.

Elizabeth Ann Sloan Prince

Elizabeth Ann Sloan Prince, age 61 years of Gentry, passed away June 9, 2020. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Mary T. Prince and Edward O. Prince and one son, Thomas Ballenger. Elizabeth is survived by her sisters, Barbara Hutchings, Sharon Schultz and Mary Comer; brother, Larry Ashbrook; daughter, Christina Frendeland­er; grandchild­ren, Colsten Dickson, Kayla

Dickson, Jay Dickson, Ashley Dickson and Jazmine Ballenger; great-grandchild­ren, Aubree Jones, Jaylyn Goodman, Gracie Dickson, Thomas Walker, Kimberlie and Ray Freeman, Isaiah Freeman, Joshua Jones, Kattlin Jones and Kirsten Jones.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangemen­ts are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers.

Johnny ‘J.L.’ Shook

Johnny “J.L.” Shook, 81, of West Fork, died June 8, 2020, at his home.

He was born Dec. 12, 1938, in Healing Springs, to John and Frances Shook. He married Joyce Stewart on Dec. 13, 1958, and he worked as a body and paint man for car dealers and later as a mechanic. He was a member of Grace Meadows Fellowship Church in Maysville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Wayne, sister Norma Skaggs, and two greatgrand­children.

Survivors include his wife Joyce of the home; his children, Twila Owens and husband Bryan of West Fork, Debbie Center and husband Lindell of West Fork, and Jim Shook and wife Jackie of Jay, Okla.; 15 grandchild­ren; 28 great-grandchild­ren; sisters Betty Milczarski of Lowell, and Peggy Jackson of Temple, Texas; and brother, Donnie Shook of Gentry.

A family service was held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 12, at Grace Meadows Fellowship, Maysville. Burial was at Maysville Cemetery in Maysville. Arrangemen­ts were by Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Donald Ray Seideman

Donald Ray Seideman, 87, of Hiwasse, died June 9, 2020, at his home.

He was born to Fred and Velma Seideman on Dec. 18, 1932, in Kansas City, Mo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and settled down in Neosho, Mo., where he ran his own CPA firm. He was a 50-year Mason and a member of the United Methodist Church. Upon retirement, he moved to Hiwasse, where he remained devoted to his late wife, Barbara Ann, and his three adult children, Amy, Bill and Sue. He took great pride in his flower garden and orchard. He was an avid reader and student of philosophy until his death and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

He is survived by his three children and their spouses, seven grandchild­ren, and five great-grandchild­ren.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 12, at Bella Vista Funeral Home and Crematory in Bella Vista.
