GRAVETTE — Brandon Wilson, local Edwards Jones financial advisor, is beginning the new year with a move into his new location at 110 Main Street N.E. The firm held a soft opening Friday, Jan. 8, and opened for its first full day of business Monday, Jan. 11. Office hours for the business are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Brandon offers a full range of financial planning services for persons of all ages. He has been in the business for almost 20 years, having started his career with Edward Jones in 2001 in the company’s corporate headquarters in St. Louis, Mo. He came to Gravette in 2004 and began work with the local firm when the office was still located on Birmingham Street, in the building which now houses Groomer Has It.

“I gain satisfaction each day with the knowledge that the service I provide my clients improves their lives in very tangible ways,” Wilson says. “Whether working with a young couple to set them up for a successful future, helping families plan for college or retirement, providing advice to business owners or working on estate plans, I appreciate being an important part of the milestone events in each client’s life.”

Wilson has distinguished himself as a leader in the financial planning field. During his time with Edward Jones, he has been recognized as the region’s top financial advisor for client service, been invited to multiple Managing Partners Conferences (events for the nation’s top 350 advisors), represented Edwards Jones at the Barron’s Magazine TDS Summit for top advisors and been named a limited partner with the firm.

A native of Pocola, Okla., Wilson is a graduate of Arkansas State University. He lives in Centerton with his wife Sarah and young daughters Olivia and Emily and in his hours off work enjoys sharing activities with his family.

Wilson is assisted in the Gravette office by branch office administrator Morgan Hough. Hough is a Grand Prairie, Texas, native who joined Edward Jones in 2010 after a career as an aircraft firefighter in the Marine Corps. She lives in Bentonville with her husband Payton and two sons, Riley, 11, and Oliver, 4. Payton works for Innovative Solutions.

The Edward Jones business has moved from its former location just down the street at 102 Main Street N.E. Remodeling work, by Built Well Construction and Heart and Soule’ Construction, began on the present location in the spring of 2020. Built Well Construction and Heart and Soule’ are local companies specializing in residential and commercial construction and remodeling. They have completely remodeled the interior of the building, which served as the location of the Bank of Gravett for many years. The building features a spacious lobby with a waiting room, several offices, a kitchen/break room, and a restroom. The door of the restroom, which was once a bank vault, has been decorated to resemble a vault door. The building’s historic brick walls have been left exposed in many places and provide a rustic atmosphere in the front offices.

The exterior of the building has been refurbished and repainted and new signage was installed on the front by Best Sign Group of Rogers on Tuesday, Jan. 12.

Edward Jones financial advisors can be accessed on the firm’s website, edwardjones.com, and Wilson and Hough can be contacted by phone at 479-787-7889.

Wilson says he would be happy to help all area residents with their financial planning needs.

“Contact me if you have questions about your portfolio, have an interest in financial planning, need guidance for your retirement, are a professional in need of services for your clients or just looking for general financial information,” he said.
