Wanda Lou Truitt

Wanda Lou Truitt, 81, of Decatur, Arkansas, died January 29, 2021, in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born November 23, 1939, in Decatur, Arkansas, to Hubert Earl and Anna Allean “Did” (Howard) Wilkins. Wanda married Neale Truitt in Oxnard, California, on July 28, 1957. They moved back to this area and later opened their business, Truitt’s Plumbing, where she managed the office.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Eva Mae Bradley, and brothers Robert “Bob” and Jimmy Wilkins.

Survivors included her husband Neale of the home; their children Karla Rogers and husband Randy of Rogers, Arkansas and son Keith Truitt and Jennifer Cook of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; grandchildren Kyla, Taylor, Chase, Tera, Grady, Hayley and Alysha; great-grandchildren Norah, Elsie, Alexander, Emaline, Lylah and Maisy; brothers Howard “Bud” Wilkins and wife Betty of Decatur, Arkansas, Max Wilkins and wife Carolyn of Flippin, Arkansas and Michael Wilkins and wife Patsy of Decatur, Arkansas; and sister in law Mary Wilkins of Gravette, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Thursday, February 4, 2021, at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will be at Falling Springs Cemetery, Decatur, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. For the visitation and funeral service, guests will be limited to 150 people and everyone will be required to wear their own facemask, per the guidelines set forth by the State of Arkansas.
