Carl Rudy Cook

Carl Rudy Cook, 75, of Gentry, died on Aug. 22, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

He was born on March 27, 1946, to Ira Ole Cook and Leah June Northup, in Purdy. He grew up in Northwest Arkansas and was a short-haul truck driver for Roadway Express Trucking. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling and going on cruises and had many memorable trips with his wife Joyce. He was a member of the Springtown Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; one son, Carl Glen Cook and fiancé Vanessa Brown of Jay, Okla.; one daughter, Lisa Joann Farabee and husband Kenneth of Westville, Okla.; two grandsons, Carl Wayne Cook and wife Brianna, and Cole Farabee; two granddaugh­ters, True Farabee and fiancé Dom McDonald, and Miya Farabee; two great-granddaugh­ters; two brothers, Marion Timmy Cook of Jay and Ira Dwayne Cook of Siloam Springs; and one sister, Genoah Conner of Rogers.

Vaden Lee Koehn

Vaden Lee Koehn, 76, of Colcord, Okla., died Aug. 21, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayettevil­le.

He was born Dec. 25, 1944, in Turlock, Calif., to Elmer and Susanna (Jantz) Koehn. He married Helen Lavern and was a poultry grower for Cobb. He was a member of the Gentry Mennonite Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leroy Koehn; and sister, Wanda Flores.

Survivors include his wife, Helen of the home; son, Jonathan Koehn and wife Bethany of Colcord, Okla.; daughter, Pamela Koehn of Colcord; brothers, Roger and Maynard Koehn of Livingston, Calif.; sisters, Laura Esau of Atwater, Calif., and Phyllis Wedell of Bonner Ferry, Idaho.

Elijah ‘Eli’ Misenheime­r

Elijah “Eli” Misenheime­r, 20, of Gravette, died on Aug. 23, 2021, in Gravette.

He was born May 14, 2001, in Little Rock, to Michael and Brenda (Hand) Misenheime­r. He loved to go dirt roading with his fiance, friends and his dog, listening to music. He also enjoyed making money. He attended church at Decatur Sale Barn Church and C-7 Church in Bentonvill­e.

He is survived by his parents, Mike and Brenda of Colcord, Okla.; his sister, Bailey Burrow of Gravette; his brothers, Drey Misenheime­r and wife Logan of Bella Vista, and Jon Ballard and wife Sara of Iowa; his fiance MaKenzie of Bella Vista; grandparen­ts, Bob Misenheime­r of Gravette, Carol Misenheime­r of Rogers, Judy Durbin and husband Ron of Bella Vista.

Celebratio­n of life ceremony will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 28, at C7 Church, 2003 SW Regional Airport Blvd., Bentonvill­e. There will be a time for anyone to speak if they desire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to A Heart Like Mine Foundation, www. TeamAnnabe­lle.org.

Howard Lee Pack

Howard Lee Pack, 81, of Siloam Springs, died Aug. 18, 2021, at Circle of Life in Springdale.

He was born Nov. 27, 1939, in Adair County, Okla., to Fred Pack and Rosa Lee Carter Pack. He graduated from Westville High School in Westville, Okla., and was a mechanic for Bear Brand Hosiery and a meter reader for the city of Siloam Springs Electric Department. He was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs and, in his spare time, he enjoyed coin collecting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Rosa Pack, and his daughter-in-law, Ruby Pack.

Survivors include his wife, Janet of the home; one son, Gary Pack of Watts, Okla.; one daughter, Paula Wright of Siloam Springs; one grandson, Darren Wright of Siloam Springs; and one granddaugh­ter, Alisha Schmalz and husband Joe of Paris, Ark.

Christy Sue Pembleton

Christy Sue Pembleton, 43, of Gravette, died Friday, Aug. 27, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.

She was born Aug. 7, 1978, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Steve and Nancy (Thomas) Sample. She lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1998 after moving from California. She would have completed 20 years at Walmart in September. Christy was a fan of Bath & Body Works, music and Branson music shows.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Katherine Pembleton.

Survivors include her husband, Kyle Pembleton, whom she married in 1999; her parents; one daughter, Kelsey Pembleton of Gravette; one brother, Steve Sample Jr. (Heidi) of California; and her friend, LaDonna Smith of Bella Vista.

A visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. at Epting Funeral Home of Gravette. Arrangemen­ts are by Epting Funeral Home of Gravette.

Yvonne A. Reid

Yvonne “Chick” A. Reid, 75, of Bentonvill­e, died on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2021.

She was born to Frank and Edith (Bibbalonia) Lindgren on Oct. 6, 1945, in Portland, Ore. She was the secretary for the family’s heating and air business. She volunteere­d at First Baptist Church in Centerton for 39 years and was involved with the children’s ministry, kitchen ministry and outreach programs at her church. She did volunteer mission work in the Dominican Republic, Romania and Hungary. She also volunteere­d at Helping Hands and The Extension Office of Bentonvill­e. She was a member of the Vaughn Presbyteri­an Ladies Club. She was a chicken grower for 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Roger; her sons, Gilbert Franklin Reid of Bentonvill­e, and Franklin (Naomi) Reid of Seneca, Mo.; her siblings, Lewis Lindgren and Dorothy Evers, both of Tucson, Ariz; six grandchild­ren, Blythe, Jonathan (Shelby), Jacob and Daniel Reid, and Nigel and Michael Young; and two greatgrand­children.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Centerton, on Aug. 28. Services will follow at 12 p.m. Brothers Joshua Babb and R.E. Clark will officiate.
