Arlene Keller Christense­n, 84, of Gentry, Arkansas, died July 17, 2022, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born August 7, 1937, in Hewitt, Minnesota, to Joel Russell and Grayce (Reynolds) Russell.

Arlene was born and raised on a small family farm just outside of Hewitt, Minnesota. She was the fourth born of five children. She graduated from Wadena High School, before attending Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Arlene married William (Bill) Keller on June 27, 1957. They had one child, Cynthia Kay. They were both very active in their church and spent a lot of time with friends and family. Arlene worked for the Farm Credit Bank for 37 years and Lario Oil and Gas Company for 11 years. She made lifelong friends while working. After a long and happy marriage, Bill died in 2003.

Arlene was lucky enough to find love a second time when she was introduced to Don Christense­n by a mutual friend. They married May 22, 2004, and they spent 18 delightful years together. She loved being back on a farm and sharing her life with Don.

She is preceded in death by both parents, her four siblings, her first husband William Keller, and her stepgrandd­aughter, Jocelyn Christense­n.

Arlene is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Keller) Stacey and husband Richard, of Wichita, Kansas; her husband, Donald Christense­n, of the home; stepsons, David Christense­n and wife Terri, of Gentry, Arkansas, Dana Christense­n and wife Joy, of Gentry, and Darren Christense­n, of Gentry; grandchild­ren, William Stacey and wife Stephanie, Tyler Stacey and wife Jordan, Nicholette Stacey and husband Tyson, Bryonna Koppenhave­r and husband Harrison; greatgrand­children, Oliver, Xander, Finn, and Kason; six step-grandchild­ren; eight step-great-grandchild­ren; and her life-long friend, Rae Ferris.

Visitation will be at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, July 21, 2022, at the Springtown Adventist Church, in Springtown, Arkansas. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 a.m. After services, Arlene will join her daughter and family in Wichita, Kansas, where she will be laid to rest.
